On the important recurrence of the 50th anniversary of Sotheby’s in Asia, the auction house of Hong Kong celebrated the event by presenting the first live jewellery auction of 2023 on site. On 3rd February, “Important Jewels” presented more than 130 lots, including a series of fabulous, ancient and
contemporary jewels, from the world’s most famous jewellery brands, from Cartier to Van Cleef & Arpels, Bulgari, Buccellati and more. In conjunction with the first, another milestone in the jewellery world was the 75th anniversary of the Serpenti collection of Bulgari which enriched and completed the precious auction in Hong Kong, presenting an exceptional selection of “snake” jewels, as well as a vast range of artistic artefacts including a rich selection of precious stones and diamonds, in countless colours and shapes.
