The main edition of “Jewellery & Gem WORLD Hong Kong” was held as B2B event “One Fair, Two Venues”, from 16 to 20 September at the
AsiaWorld-Expo (AWE) and from 18 to 22 September at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center (HKCEC). The event featured an exhibition of luxury pearls, on show to the public for the first time, as well as a series of panels with iconic jewellery brands with luxury pearls, and the celebration of the winners of the Informa Sustainability Awards. This edition of the Fair saw an increase in the number of visitors and potential buyers, which reached 50,232, representing 142 countries and regions. The increase in visitors came from South America (+19.9%), Middle East (+18.3%), North America (+7.5%) and Europe (+4.7%). The Fair also saw the participation of more than 3,300 exhibitors from about 40 countries and regions, including the largest producers of diamonds, coloured precious stones and pearls; prestigious ateliers of luxury jewels; important suppliers of equipment, tools and packaging, and important providers of technologies and solutions, all distributed in more than 40 pavilions.
