Il 7 aprile 2022, il Dipartimento del Tesoro degli Stati Uniti ha annunciato nuove sanzioni di blocco contro Alrosa, la più grande compagnia di estrazione di diamanti del mondo, di proprietà dello stato. Alrosa rappresenta circa il 28% dell'estrazione mondiale di diamanti.
ALROSA CANCELS THE DIVIDEND DUE TO ECONOMIC SANCTIONS
The board of directors of the Russian diamond giant Alrosa has suggested shareholders vote not to receive dividends for 2021, during the next general assembly. Alrosa recorded a net profit of 91.32 billion roubles (1.5 billion dollars) in 2021, almost triple the profit of 32.25 billion roubles (527.7 million dollars) in 2020. The dividends for the first half of 2021 were 64.7 billion roubles (1.04 billion dollars), exceeding by 70% the net profit of the company in 2021. of the United States announced new blocking sanctions against Alrosa, the world’s largest extraction company, owned by the state. Alrosa represents about 28% of world diamond extraction.
IDE OSPITERÀ L'INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND WEEK NEL 2023
L'Israel Diamond Exchange ospiterà una serie di eventi, relativi al settore dei diamanti, per l’arco di circa una settimana, dal 27 al 30 marzo 2023 a Tel Aviv e a Ramat Gan, in Israele.
Gli eventi includeranno:
il 27 marzo 2023 la Israel Diamond Conference, che ospiterà discorsi e panel di importanti personalità del mondo dei diamanti, inclusi i principali produttori di diamanti, funzionari governativi, banchieri, analisti, influencer e altri ancora. A seguire l'Israel International Diamond Exhibition che, dal 28 al 30 marzo 2023, offrirà
un'ampia varietà di prodotti di diamanti israeliani e internazionali. Il 29 e 30 marzo 2023 si svolgerà il World Diamond Congress, il principale evento della World Federation of Diamond Bourses e dell'International Diamond Manufacturers Association, che si tiene ogni tre anni.
Il presidente dell'IDE, Boaz Moldawsky, ha dichiarato: "L'Israel Diamond Exchange è entusiasta di ospitare la manifestazione più importante del 2023 per i diamanti. Stiamo pianificando una serie di eventi di altissimo livello, con alcune sorprese interessanti. Non vediamo l'ora di accogliere tutti i membri del settore mondiale di diamanti e di gioielli. THE INTERNATIONAL DIAMOND WEEK IN 2023
The Israel Diamond Exchange will host a series of diamond-related events for a week, from 27 to 30 March in Tel Aviv and in Ramat Gan, in Israel.
The events will include:
the Israel Diamond Conference on 27 March 2023, which will host talks and panels of important figures of the diamond world, including key diamond producers, government officials, bankers, analysts, influencers, and others. The Conference will be followed by the Israel International Diamond Exhibition, which from 28 to 30 March 2023, will offer a wide variety of products of Israel and international diamonds. On 29 and 30 March 2023, the World Diamond Congress, the key event of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses and of the International Diamond Manufacturers Association, which is held every three years. The president of IDE, Boaz Moldawsky, declared: “The Israel Diamond Exchange is delighted to host the most important event dedicated to diamonds in 2023. We are planning a series of top-level events, with some interesting surprises. We cannot wait to welcome all members of the world diamond and jewellery sector. Please mark the date on your calendar”.
