ELVIS’ TREASURES
All traces of them had been lost for over 50 years, but now they have been found: an important collection of jewels which the king of rock Elvis Presley had given to his manager Tom Parker, since 1955. Objects and jewels were promptly auctioned by GWS Auctions, in Los Angeles, California, on 27 August 2022, with the meaningful title of “Lost Jewelry Collection of Elvis Presley and Colonel Tom Parker”. The event was announced together with the release of the film “Elvis” directed by Baz Luhrmann, presented at the Festival of Cannes 2022, which tells the story of the famous singer and his complicated relationship with his manager Parker, from his rise to global fame, and his relationship with his wife Priscilla. The auction exhibited and put on sale almost 200 objects, including gold rings, watches, gold guns, money clips, boots, license plates and other items of great collector’s interest. Including cars, photographs, and a private jet. The rarest and most costly pieces include
