Diamond International Awards. He was appointed by Omega in 1969 to create a collection of watches called “About Time” and during the 1970s he opened shops in New York, Sydney, Tokyo and Zurich. He moved to Switzerland in 1986, first to Lugano and then to Gstaad, where he received clients such as Jackie Onassis, Ursula Andress, Peter Sellers, and Estée Lauder in an elegant boutique; more recently, Miuccia Prada, Marc Jacobs and Gwendoline Christie have been photographed wearing his fantastic jewels. Andrew Grima died in 2007, leaving an inheritance of innovative and visionary jewels, which are still as appreciated and collectable as they were during the 1960s and 1970s, which they have helped to characterize.
