Lo spettacolare bracciale-orologio Srinika, ispirato all’antica mitologia indiana, ha stabilito un nuovo Guinness World Record per "il maggior numero di diamanti incastonati in un orologio”. Realizzato da Renani Jewels, a Meerut, Uttar Pradesh (India), l’orologio è incastonato con 17.524 diamanti naturali tagliati a mano, per un peso totale di 54,7 carati, tutti di colore E o F e purezza VVS-VS. E’ inoltre decorato con 12 diamanti neri sul quadrante, un solitario D/VVS da 0,72 carati e 113 zaffiri blu naturali. Renani Jewels, specializzata nella creazione e vendita di gioielli con diamanti, possiede una vasta esperienza nei principali mercati dei diamanti. Questo non è il primo record mondiale dell’azienda, che, in precedenza, ha vinto un Guinness World Record per un anello realizzato con 24.679 diamanti naturali.
The spectacular bracelet-watch Srinika, inspired by ancient Indian mythology, has established a new Guinness World Record for the “largest number of diamonds set inside a watch”. Made by Renani Jewels, in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh (India), the watch is set with 17,524 natural diamonds cut by hand for a total weight of 54.7 carats, all graded E or F on the colour scale, and VVS-VS clarity. It is also decorated with 12 black diamonds on the dial, one D/VVS solitaire of 0.72 carats and 113 natural blue sapphires. Renani Jewels, specialised in the creation and sale of jewels with diamonds, has vast experience in key diamond markets. This is not the first world record of the company, having previously won a Guinness World Record for a ring made with 24,679 natural diamonds.
Nel corso dell’annuale ricevimento del Corpo Diplomatico di fine anno 2022 a Buckingham Palace, la Principessa del Galles Kate Middleton ha indossato in via del tutto eccezionale la famosa “Lotus Flower Tiara” (Tiara del Fiore di Loto), già indossata dalla Regina Madre nel 1923, proveniente da una collana ricevuta come regalo di nozze da suo marito, il futuro re Giorgio VI. La Lotus Flower Tiara, composta da diamanti e perle, è un grande classico nella storia dei gioielli della Royal Family. In occasione dell’evento, Kate ha abbinato la storica tiara a un abito rosso a maniche lunghe di Jenny Packham, impreziosito da ricami floreali scintillanti, unitamente a una fascia blu con il distintivo del Royal Victorian Order, una croce maltese smaltata bianca con corona Tudor e un Family Order giallo.
During the annual reception of the Diplomatic Corps at the end of 2022, in Buckingham Palace, the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton exceptionally wore the famous “Lotus Flower Tiara”, previously worn by the Queen Mother in 1923, coming from a necklace received as a wedding gift from her husband, the future King George VI. The Lotus Flower Tiara, composed of diamonds and pearls, is a great classic in the history of the Royal Family jewels. Kate wore the historical tiara with a long-sleeved red dress by Jenny Packham, embellished with sparkling floral embroidery, together with a blue sash with the insignia of the Royal Victorian Order, a white enamelled Maltese cross with Tudor crown and a yellow Family Order.
