expectations for the event, which saw an increase in the participation of international buyers, many of which are guests of the incoming mission organised in association with ICE, and national buyers, with a total of more than 15,000 attendees over the four days of the event. As per tradition, different appointments were dedicated to the culture of the jewel: the route of deepening and knowledge which has set the activity of Tarì apart for years, aimed at strengthening continuity between the tradition of high jewellery craftsmanship of Campania and the transmission of expertise, values and inspirations, which guide the new generations of jewellers. The components of this route are multiple: from deepening knowledge through innovative technologies which, like investigative gemmology, aim at achieving new goals of knowledge of the jewels of the past, to the adoption of innovative tools for knowledge of the gems, to the new frontiers of higher education experimented by Tads, the Tarì Design School. “I am amazed and proud of how much the intuition of going in search of the DNA of the Jewel from Campania has aroused interested and stimulated very ambitious research projects”, declared president Giannotti on the sidelines during the inauguration of the Event, on the occasion which saw the presentation of the concluding document of the gemmological analysis carried out on the jewels of the archaeological park of Pompei, “which, as we have already been able to verify, contribute not only to deepening the knowledge of the past, but also widening the horizons of creativity for the future”. The event also offered the opportunity to present the world of technological services and creativity of Tarì: gemmological analysis on diamonds, photo shoots in still life and worn, customised consulting services, and the Tarì Studio, an innovative recording room, true gem of technology available to the needs of companies all year. On Open, the Sportello Imprese Federorafi Confindustria Caserta-Campania was also inaugurated to fulfil the goals of providing assistance, advice and information to companies, defined within the scope of the recent Agreement signed to constitute the jewellery production Hub of Campania. Every Monday, the Sportello will be dedicated to responding to the many questions of businessmen on regulations and tax for the jewellery system.
