An important collaboration between two well-known cultural institutions “Fondazione Luigi Rovati-Museo d’arte etrusca” of Milan and “Museo Nazionale Etrusco di Villa Giulia” of Rome, gave way to the important
exhibition “Tesori Etruschi. La collezione Castellani tra storia e moda” ("Etruscan Treasures. The Castellani collection between history and fashion") opened 25 October last and is running in the headquarters of the Fondazione until 3 March 2024. This is a sign of the commitment of the two museums to enhance the Etruscan heritage and the history of its collection. The extraordinary collection of Roman antiques is one of the richest and best-known, not only for the significance of the archaeological finds and extraordinary jewels, but also the importance of the personalities who contributed to its formation throughout the 19th century.
