SARA BARDELLA, designer from Jesolo (Venezia), obtains her diploma from language high school and goes on to third level education which she abandons to dedicate herself definitively to the study most congenial to her, jewellery art. In October 2021 she transfers to Milan to embark on her journey in the jewellery world, at the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana (www.scuolaorafa.com), starting with “Design of the Jewel”, freehand drawing and gouache drawing. To complete her training in the jewellery world at the highest level, with the new academic year (2022-23) she continues her studies attending the “Wax modelling”, “Jewellery” and “3D Design with Rhinoceros for jewellery” courses. Encouraged by her teachers, she also participates in the Jewellery Design competition to win the “Belè e gargoyle del Castel” Award, an idea promoted by Confartigianato of Milan and Galdus with the collaboration of Municipio 1, finalised at rewarding and supporting creative projects with a cultural and economic value, dedicated to the students of the Jewellery Schools of Milan, to design and realise jewel prototypes (belè) which reproduce an element or a figure (gargoyle) of the Sforzesco Castle of Milan. The young designer is inspired primarily by architecture, source of fascination and stimuli, as also by classic art which leads her to the concept of wearability of the jewels, to harmonise with the different social habits of today, adding an ethical-social-sustainable reflection. The illustrated projects are inspired by some historical buildings, such as the “Basilica of San Marco” of Venice, by the most modern and innovative architectural structures, such as “Galaxy Soho of Zaha Hadid”, by the windows of the world differentiated into four cardinal points and a painting by the Russian painter Serge Marshennikov.
