The jewelry designer CHIARA ISIDORI, born in Rome in 1988, has been living and working in Milan since 2017, a city which she considers akin to her personality, for its flexibility, dynamism and energy. Passionate about anything to do with the jewellery world since forever, Chiara begins to attend the Scuola Orafa Ambrosiana, an environment rich in stimuli and ideas, where she easily completes 12 courses of certified training in four years, attaining an equal number of diplomas. Among the many courses attended, the most decisive for her jewellery formation as a designer are Gemology for the knowledge of gemstones and their specific characteristics, Jewellery Design and Gouache Technique, Professional Jewellery and Design using Rhinoceros. The latter is the key method she uses for realising her creations. The restrictions imposed by the recent pandemic have also given Chiara the opportunity to attend different online seminars held by Professor Rui
Galopim de Carvalho (Gem Education Consultant), organised for those working in the sector, with the participation of qualified guests of the international jewellery sector. The most important include: “Mediterranean Coral”, with the participation of Vincenzo Liverino (President of the Coral Commission @CIBJO); “Precious Opal”, with the participation of Damien Cody (General Manager @the National Opal Collection); “Brazilian Gemstones in 18th Century Jewellery”, with the participation of Luisa Penalva (Curator of Gold, Silver and Jewellery Collection @Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga); “Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond, The Early History”, with the participation of Dr Jack Ogden FGA (Jewellery Historian and Author). The creative stimulus provided by the numerous and illustrious guests inspires the design and creation of Chiara’s brand ISI, which encloses her philosophy and her approach to the jewellery world: a virtual atelier of creations which design and give life to her personal universe”.
